If you cannot physically attend the event,  you may Register to Bid online via e-mail. Please follow the instructions below to Place a Bid.

To Place a Bid, you must first  Registered to Bid and receive a Bidder Number.  

If you have your Bidder Number and wish to place a bid on any piece, e-mail the following information to: director@HumaneSocietyofKnoxCounty.org 
 

1.  Your Bidder Number 
2.  Artist Name 
3.  Title of the piece
4.  The amount you wish to bid.   If you prefer, you may provide a range that includes the  highest you amount you would go on that piece and Humane Society volunteers will do their best to keep your bids "in play" by minimum $5 increments.  
5.  No bid should be considered accepted unless acknowledged by e-mail.

The following Terms and Conditions apply to the Humane Society of Knox County's  Art for the Animals Silent Auction.  By submitting a bid, the "Bidder" consents to the terms and conditions that follow:

1. The obligation to pay for any item(s) for which the Bidder was the highest bid is absolute at the close of bidding on Sunday, August 10 at 3p.m.  Cash, personal check, Visa and/or MasterCard will be accepted.  Buyer is responsible for the expense of shipping.

2. All items are sold As Is and Where Is.  All risk is upon the Bidder and no representation is made as to the authenticity or state of repair of the items.  No statement (oral or written) in the catalog, at the Auction, or elsewhere may be deemed a warranty or representation or any assumption of responsibility by the seller.  The Bidder bears the risk of all patent and latent defects.

3. As a convenience to e-mail and/or phone bidders, such bids will be executed by Humane Society of Knox County personnel in a competitive (minimum $5 increments) and confidential manner to the extent that personnel allow.
